Overview

NBC Sports Network will feature over 70 hours of live coverage of the 100^th edition of the Tour de France, the cycling season's most grueling, epic race in the world. As the second leg of the Grand Tours, the Tour de France is the headline event each year. For 23 days, we'll feature daily live and enhanced primetime coverage. On broadcast, with increased telecasts of the Tour de France, the crown jewel of cycling will see a significant increase in audience reach in 2013. All stages of the Tour de France will be live streamed on NBCSports.com and within the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app.

The NBC Sports Group's commitment to the sport of cycling continues with the recent extension of our contract through 2023, establishing NBC as the home to the Tour de France and multiple coveted races on the A.S.O. schedule.

We'll also air 13 cycling events in 2013, beginning with the Tour Down Under and ending with one of the oldest cycling events of the sport, the Paris Tours. NBC Sports Network will feature live coverage of some of America's biggest events including the AMGEN Tour of California and the USA Pro Cycling Challenge in addition to one-day European Classics Paris Roubaix and Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Universal Sports Network will complement our coverage with a robust schedule of 21 cycling events in 2013, including the final grand tour of the season: the Vuelta a España. Other marquee events covered are the Tour of Basque, the USA Pro Cycling Championships, the BMX World Championships, the Road Cycling World Championships from Italy and the Mountain Bike World Championships from South Africa.
