Sunday Night is Football Night on NBC. In the 2013 season, Football Night in America and Sunday Night Football were the #1 Primetime show and the #1 NFL property across all demos. For the fourth consecutive season, we averaged more than 20 million viewers per game, showing once again that America has chosen SNF as a one-of-a-kind package for fans serious about football.
In the upcoming 2014 season, the best gets better with earlier flex scheduling beginning in Week 5, enhanced playoff coverage, including a Divisional Playoff game, and the return of the Super Bowl to NBC on February 1st, 2015. Coverage of Super Bowl XLIX will span the networks of NBCUniversal all week culminating with Super Bowl Sunday coverage beginning at 12PM ET. We also offer full online and tablet app NBC Sports Live Extra streaming rights in addition to Spanish language rights across Telemundo and mun2. With NBC's extension of rights through 2022, great matchups will continue to be showcased in the coming seasons.
Emmy Award winners Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth will continue to follow all the action from the booth with the Football Night in America team - Bob Costas, Dan Patrick, Rodney Harrison, Tony Dungy and Hines Ward - will keep fans up to date with the latest news and expert analysis. On cable, NBCSN's ProFootball Talk and NFL Turning Point inform and entertain fans with NFL news and analysis.
